Prof. Dr. Oya Ertuğruloğlu is an academic and an expert in educational administration from the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). She graduated from the Department of Business Administration at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Marmara University in 1985. She completed her Master of Business Administration (MBA) at European University of Lefke in 1997 and received her PhD in Educational Administration, Supervision, Economics and Planning from Near East University in 2012. Prof. Dr. Ertuğruloğlu began her academic career as a lecturer at the Faculty of Education at Girne American University in 2014. She was appointed Assistant Professor in 2015, Associate Professor in 2017, and was promoted to the rank of Professor on September 26, 2024. Throughout her academic career, she has undertaken various academic and administrative responsibilities at institutions including Girne American University, Cyprus American University, and Final International University. Her academic research focuses primarily on educational administration, education systems, management, leadership, special education, professional ethics, and the relationship between culture and education. Her scholarly work has been published in national and international academic journals and publications. In addition to her academic work, Prof. Dr. Ertuğruloğlu has assumed various leadership and administrative positions in higher education. She currently serves as Vice Rector and Dean of the Faculty of Education at Girne American University. Prof. Dr. Ertuğruloğlu has also had extensive professional experience in public administration. She worked for approximately 20 years as an auditor at the Office of the Auditor General of the TRNC, where she participated in the auditing processes of various public institutions and prepared reports on financial and administrative matters. She has also contributed to various civil society initiatives in the fields of education, health, and social responsibility. Prof. Dr. Oya Ertuğruloğlu continues her academic and professional work as a distinguished scholar whose expertise combines educational administration and leadership, higher education management, public administration, and social responsibility.
